Figuring Out Buyer Behavior No.2

The type of individuals I interviewed for this segment are those that I believe fit perfectly for the needs being met. The individuals interviewed were those who economic status was considerably high and who were socially and politically inclined in order to fully grasp the nature of the opportunity and what it holds towards the future. During the interviews the interactions were slightly different as they were not directed toward simply attaining an answer and calling it a day, but rather they were more focused toward evaluating and analyzing the overall effect being made by the opportunity and what it will foster in its later stages. The individuals interviewed hinted toward the necessity of price and felt that finances truly drove whether or not they would purchase the product or service or if they wouldn't. The individuals focused further on the ideas of how beneficial the service would be in the long run and helped me further understand the overall significance of what is being offered. It helped create a larger picture for the amount of information needed toward creating the project and what needs to be implemented for success. In terms of alternative evaluation, purchase decision, and post-purchase evaluation the segment is quite profitable and valuable and offers an incentive for success in terms of the buyers and the producers who seek profit and comfort. Overall, the interviews helped initiate further analysis.

What's Your Secret Sauce?

1a. What makes me unique is that I really enjoy working in a fast-paced atmosphere with lots going on. 
b. I have a natural ability to get along with people that has helped me to stand out in previous roles
c. My unique skill is that I’m creative-minded and that helps me to see things from a different perspective. 
d. I am able to identify, analyze and document opportunity and change that is effective for learning.
e. I have been able to lead many teams in order to develop leadership and cooperate skills.

These traits are a few that truly set me apart and are what I have been able to use throughout my whole life to better not only my experiences but also those around me. Further I feel these traits are truly valuable in their ability to garner results when necessary.

2a. After interviewing Jacob, I found that he understood my ability to analyze and identify issues in the world we live in. Further he spoke of my tenacious attitude when in the face of adversity.

b. The interview with Jessica helped me understand that I am quick to jump on any opportunity that presents itself. Further my desire to understand and seek out knowledge is something I would not have attributed to myself in the first place but does fit accordingly in some respects.

c. David hinted at my desire to retrieve information at a moments notice in order to gain the competencies I need in order to function on a day to day basis. 

d. After interviewing Elizabeth it was brought to my attention that I am willing to question those around me regardless of what I being discussed. Further she admired my shameless attitude in which I am willing to say the facts rather than voice irrelevant opinions. 

e. Claudio insisted that I was demanding but in a manner that creates results and that I think outside the box in most situations. something that we both feel is something all entrepreneurs require to be successful.

3. The list I created the values that others recognized in day to day interactions with me are quite accurate. When assessing my own values I tend to be quite aggressive and severe as this allows me to truly determine if these traits are who I am. I use this same mentally when assessing others as it usually garners quite accurate results and helps me understand those around me.

Halfway Reflection

1. In order to effectively keep up with the course and truly develop an understanding of the material being discussed on a daily basis I have dedicated a tremendous amount of time toward truly amercing myself into the assignments given. The ability to set aside the time to reflect on each assignment and truly analyze what is being asked has contributed greatly toward my success in the class and is an attribute students need in order to succeed completely. Further, the tremendous amount of attention to detail has truly allowed me to develop a more concrete mindset in terms of the assignments at hand.

2. There have been quite a few moments in which I did not believe I would be able to muster through. These moments include developing the entirety of the opportunity I feel is most opportune toward developing a product or service. During this time my judgement was clouded due to an inability to fully recognize the entirety of what was being written and done. I was unable to see the full picture nor the end of the road. I was able to overcome this simply by assessing what my opportunity truly meant to me and the public. With this in mind I truly feel like I have develop a tenacious attitude during the last few months and will be able to succeed in the remainder of the course with ease.

3. The tips I would offer next semesters students are quite simple: always complete your assignments on time, go above and beyond, truly grasp what is being asked in each assignment, and finally do not over complicate what the objective is.

Figuring Out The Buyer

Upon interviewing individuals in the demographic and psychographic identified earlier I as able to heavily address the needs they are most concerned with. Further, when these needs arise and what they constitute. Upon further analysis I was able to capture a larger scoop of the need and truly deliver the solution and viable effects of the information. For instance, during one particular interview there was a growth in the need during a specific time of year versus another. This helped to deliver the overall opportunity home as it compensated for this change. The information searched and discovered was quite useful and was completely identified in order to sufficiently produce a viable answer.

Reading Reflection No.1

After reading The Wright Brothers by David McCullough I became informed about two inspiring entrepreneurs who achieved the impossible and excelled in their craft. What surprised me the most regarding their journey toward success was there abilities in the past. They showed no signs of being able to achieve air travel due to their background in simple machines such as bicycles. It was inspiring to know that an individual with the ability to recognize an opportunity and with some determination and drive can achieve anything they set themselves up for. In regards to what was least appealing regarding the brothers I found their journey to be less than worth-wild and was somewhat simplistic in nature. I wish they traveled a journey more suitable to their craft. I recognized that they each displayed an overwhelming amount of knowledge, courage, and drive to achieve their goals. Further they displayed a confusing trait, one in which inhibited their overall performance in the beginning when facing criticism from the public and others. The primary questions I would ask would be how were you able to easily brush off the opposition and what helped solidify the drive for success. I believe with these questions I could be able yo truly understand their definition of hard work which most likely centers itself on being the best and seeking opportunities.

Idea Napkin No.1

1. The fundamental concepts that I feel govern my actions are clearly reflected in the business model I proposed. My talents range from being able to identify an opportunity from an array of problems that individuals face on a daily basis. Further I am well-spoken meaning when conveying the ideas of the business proposal I do so in a manner that is easy to understand and offers the individuals I am speaking with an opportunity to fully grasp the ideas I am trying to convey. Further my aspirations regarding my business proposal are centered around informing the public of the overall benefit of new tools around them and further I hope to establish a basis for further development in a growing industry. I see the business as an opportunity to gain further assess into the automobile industry. With this assess I would hope to gain the ability to further revolutionize the industry and establish a basis of excellency not yet established.

2. The product or service provided is quite concrete and helps provide insight into the overall benefit of the electric vehicle and how it can positively impact their lives. I hope to inform the public not only of the social and financial benefit but also regarding the environmental impact that will allow for future generations to maintain healthy lives. The business plan seeks to develop the current state of the electric car phenomenon and encourage the public to value their overall existence.

3. The demographic this product is being offered too is those who currently maintain or will gain financial security, meaning there ability to provide for themselves and their families is met and their overall wealth is substantial enough to purchase or lease an electric vehicle. The individuals will be of all age ranges and ethnicity but will mostly be advertised to those individuals living in suburban and rural areas as these areas will surely show greater signs of improvement upon the entrance of an electric vehicle into the household. The psycho graphics are centered around those that seek an affordable car and hope to save a substantial amount of money. These individuals are not concerned with glamour and seek only reliability and feasibility.

4. I believe that customers will pay for this service because it provides them insight into the overall benefit of the vehicles and gives them experience in driving the vehicle. The vehicles themselves display an overall cool or interesting factor that many individuals find would be quite in-joyful to experience. Giving them this experience will only produce greater avenues for purchasing an electric vehicle.

5.What set me apart from everyone else is my overall belief in my product or service. I have the determination to produce a large wave of support and understanding for the solution to the current problem facing many individuals around the world. I will seek out, unlike others, every opportunity for improvement in order to refine my current proposal and help those around me.


Overall every aspect describes does an adequate job to fully describe and deliver every aspect of my business. Further, the current views can be held as quite definitive as they address and answer all fields of the business proposal. With this in mind there are a few weak points that are quite noticeable in regards to the proposal such as how effective will it be toward gaining momentum. Will it slow down at a point when most if not all individuals purchase electric vehicles? These questions arise quite steadily and must be address accordingly.

Pitch


Testing the Hypothesis

In order to further run tests on my hypothesis concerning my opportunity I have conducted interviews that help to illustrate the need of the service/solution and what people believe this product/service is.
Who: Individuals of above average wealth and those who maintain steady and financially gifted jobs.
What: They are unaware of the benefits of electric cars and are uninformed of what similarities they can share with gas powered vehicles.
Why: Current means of informing the public are limited and vehicles seem to be only advertised toward those who seek them out. Many people are unaware including most families of reasonable income.

When interviewing the families and individuals this most pertains too I found a considerable amount of people who recognized the need for the vehicles as the age of gas powered vehicles decreases. I also found that they needed as much information concerning the vehicles as possible due to a limited amount of understanding and knowledge of them. I further helped them understand and found a large correlation of people who misunderstood the overall definition of what gas powered meant.

Inside the Boundary:
Who is in: Those of reasonably considerable wealth who are able to lease of finance the vehicles entirely
What the need is: A growing idea of what social, economical, and environmental benefits arise upon the growing demand for the product
Why the need exists: Many are feeling the constraints of gas prices and the growing decline of the environment due to emission levels. Also a desire for saving and practicality.

Outside the Boundary:
Who is not: Those of considerably low wealth who are unable to afford the product
What the Need is Not: A means of purchasing an electric vehicle nor a benefit for opposing sellers.
Alternative Explanation: Any and all individuals and company not attuned toward progressive measures.

Overall my findings helped to show an increasing amount of support for the proposed solution and helped govern a method toward pursuing the solution in a more practical and efficient manner.

Solving the Problem

The opportunity that I have witness growing both in my community and around the world concerns itself with the growing and popular interest in the electric vehicle industry that aims to revitalize and reestablish a basis for reliable energy in vehicles. I find that this opportunity grants quite a bit of room concerning what I can focus on and what is needed to deliver a service or solution for the problem that exists. The problem that specifically exists is the misunderstanding of the opportunities and benefits behind electric cars for most Americans. They are quite unaware of the benefits and help to signify a less than robust industry for the vehicle. The solution to this problem is developed in two stages. The first acts as an informative agenda. It helps inform the public of the benefits of the type of vehicles but does so in a way that it is meaningful for them and not some general overstatement that they feel doesn't specifically address there needs. It will help recognize their overall vehicle usage, expenses and what they seek in a vehicle both realistically and imaginative. The second helps with the development of a project utilizing existing vehicles. Rather than develop an entirely new vehicle, which is both time consuming and costly, the redevelopment of existing ones will help show them the benefits the vehicles have other overs. What I am proposing is the use for instance of a specific model and then simple redesigning the car for their specific needs. They will then be able to use the vehicles for a short period of time and recognize that they are more than capable of performing similar to gas powered vehicles and even most efficient. The proposal does present some flaws but is capable of generating a large community of support.
