Customer Avatar

There are many different type of customers in the world of business. Many of them are ideal for the service or product of one company and dangers for others. In this post I hope to identify what a prototypical customer would look like in terms of our services.

The typical customer we envision is one whose live style is centered around promoting change and seeking development. This particular individual lives in a relatively nice neighborhood with a nice car and nice home. These individuals are focused not only on the growth of themselves but there family. They seek enjoyment through various avenues and are capable of many different things. The typical customer spends most of there day watching the news and informative television shows and is a very avid reader. They are not bothered by the continuous degradation of modern society but are more thrilled for what is too come. They fall between the age range of 30-45 and are very willing to disclose their age among others.

There individuals share many common attributes with myself as they seek the development of not only themselves but others. They are filled with the desire to enact change and are willing to see it come through. Further they many common characteristics between myself and my customers are fairly high and can be seen through the curiosity for change.

  2. Arthur,

Your work is often among the best in our blog group, I was disappointed to see that you were unable to complete the second elevator pitch for this last week. I hope you are able to turn things around and will have a speech coming for the assignment "Elevator Pitch #3".

In this assignment, I believe you were thorough in your description of your target market; however, in describing a specific consumer your information lacked a bit of detail. Overall, I did appreciate learning who you envision your consumer group to be.

One final suggestion, in business writing we learn that the word "very" is rarely necessary. Consider doing a "finder box" search and remove unnecessary words such as "very", it will cause your writing to have a bit smoother flow. Please, don't be discouraged by this suggestion! It is a minor quibble, and your level of writing is often excellent.

    Best Regards,

    Suzanna

  3. Hey arthur,
I liked the idea of how specific you got with your target audience. Furthermore, I like that you singled them out in a good way, finding a good target market like yours (people who are middle aged) but are willing to see through innovation and the best for society. I think you have a good understanding of what is to come for your idea and how it will effect your affluent clientele.

  4. Hey Arthur.
Your picture was a great choice. It dragged me right into reading about your avatar creation. I think you were able to provide great detailed information to help envision the type of customers that you think you will receive.I mostly loved the fact that you are not looking to attract one type, but many types just with the same goal.

  5. Hey Arthur. I want to start by saying I love the way you write. Your ability to articulate information in a digestible fashion is quite impressive. I find it interesting that your prototypical customer is well read and seeks development of others and not just themselves. These characteristics are not common among everyday people, but then again, common sense is not common. Overall, great post, I'm glad you really understand your future customer base.
