Inbound Marketing, Brian Halligan
In this assignment I went ahead and read Inbound Marketing, by Brian Halligan. Halligan's text was quite interesting as it took a well developed approach at discussing the downfall of certain social media platforms and the continuing decline in some mobile and online forms of communication and hinted at more economical and effective ways at contacting the public. I found the book quite interesting in regards to the amount of data collected in arguing these view ideas and it truly helped solidify the idea that in order to truly develop a product and get the correct audience to see the product certain platforms must be utilized in a certain manner that help promote the best costs. The most surprising part of the text was in reference too the growing dislocation of many forms of communication that are still regardless vital in everyday life.
Arthur,
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing with us what you learned about Inbound Marketing by Brian Halligan. I am torn between reading Inbound Marketing or Mindset: The New Psychology of Success by Carol Dweck. Does Inbound Marketing present a lot of data or do they break it down for the reader in ways that are impactful? It's going to be a tough toss up for me choose; yet, our third reading reflection isn't very far away.
Keep up the good work in the course.
Best Regards,
Suzanna

Hi Arthur,
ReplyDeleteYou made me wonder If I should have chosen this book. Any idea why random words in your post are a much smaller font? The book seems interesting in that it discusses the various platforms necessary to reach customers of the target segment, seems extremely relevant to what we have done in this course.
